Delete your Kicko account

You can delete your Kicko account and the data linked to it at any time, either in the app or by email.

Option 1: in the app (immediate)

  1. Open Kicko and make sure you are signed in.
  2. Tap the menu (☰) at the top left of the home screen.
  3. Tap Account Details.
  4. Tap Actions at the top right, then Delete Account.
  5. Confirm with Permanently Delete My Account.

Your account is deleted immediately and you are signed out.

Option 2: by email

If you no longer have the app, send an email from the email address linked to your Kicko account to [email protected] with the subject Delete my Kicko account. If you used Apple’s “Hide My Email”, send it from your Apple ID email address and tell us that you signed in with Apple; we may ask a few questions to confirm the account is yours.

We confirm by email and complete verified requests within 30 days, usually much sooner.

What is deleted

  • Your account and sign-in identity (Apple or Google), email address, name, profile picture link and profile settings.
  • Your subscription record and purchase history stored with RevenueCat.
  • The link between your account and our push notification service.

What is not deleted, or kept for a limited time

  • Installation data: the token wallet, unlocked matches and rewarded-ad records are tied to your device installation, not to your account, and are kept so free-token limits keep working. They contain only a random installation ID and a hashed device key. Email us if you also want these deleted.
  • Push registration: your device’s push token stays registered (without your account) until you uninstall the app or turn off notifications.
  • Analytics: pseudonymous usage data in Google Analytics for Firebase expires under its retention setting (at most 14 months).
  • Legal records: anything we must keep by law, only for as long as required.

Subscriptions

Deleting your account does not cancel an App Store or Google Play subscription. Cancel it first in your store settings to avoid future charges; see the support page for steps.
